Andrew Gerald Goss, age 80, of Rowlett, TX, passed away December 24, 2020. He was born October 31, 1940, in Dallas, TX, to Raymond Guinn Goss and Effie Irene (McPeters) Goss. Andrew served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. He worked for the Corps of Engineers after his retirement. Andrew was extremely patriotic. He loved the military and law enforcement. He served as a Tech Sergeant in Hawaii, New Mexico, Arkansas and Texas. Andrew was also a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and traveling all across the United States. Andrew was a member of Lake Pointe Baptist Church. His presence will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife: Francie Goss of Rowlett, TX; sons: Jason Goss and fiancé Elaine Johnson of White Pigeon, MI, and Andrew Goss, Jr. and wife Chasiti of Arlington, TX; daughters: Sherrie Goss of Azle, TX, Carrie Johnson and husband Monty Brockelman of Fort Worth, TX; stepson: Paul Fragale and wife Nina of Little Elm, TX; grandchildren: Kierstin Goss, Mary Fragale, Britanni Johnson, Lexi Brockelman, Sheridan Brockelman, Emma Goss, and Katelyn Goss; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location, officiated by Pastor Phil Alford. Interment will follow at 1:00pm in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX, 75211.
