Mrs. Margaret J. Bristley, 78, died Saturday [March 25, 1950] at 11:45 a.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Crump, 211 South Sumner Ave., with whom she had resided.
Mrs. Bristley, a native of Wales, had resided in this city for the past 70 years. She was the widow of Joseph Bristley and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Martha Jenkins Jones. She was a member of First Welsh Baptist Church.
Surviving is a niece, Mrs. John Davis, Glenburn.
The funeral will be held today at 3:30 p.m. from the B. Willard Tague Funeral Home, 109 South Main Ave. The Rev. Clayton R. Maud, First Welsh Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment, Washburn Street Cemetery. (The Tribune, Scranton, PA, March 27, 1950)
