Steven Tracy Hubscher, a son of Eleanor and Carmen Hubscher, was born June 10, 1953, and died at his home of heart failure at the age of 48 on May 3, 2002 in San Jose, Costa Rica. Steven was born in Tacoma Park and previously lived in Silver Spring MD. He graduated from Spring Brook High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in the area of labor relations from the University of Maryland. Steven was a former restaurateur in the Washington area and was involved in various business ventures in Costa Rica. He enjoyed fishing and boating. Survivors included his former wife, Kathy Hubscher, of Burtonsville; two daughters, Tracy and Molly Hubscher of Burtonsville; his mother and stepfather, Eleanor L. and Joseph R. Woodring of Severna Park; two brothers, Lynn Hubscher of Tallahassee and Glenn Woodring of Annapolis; and his sister, Nora Skolka of Stevensville. Steven was interred at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood MD.
