Barbara A. Adlam, 59, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at her home.

Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Sharon Phillips will officiate. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was born on May 24, 1961, in Muscatine, the daughter of James E. and Betty Deahr Phillips Sr.

Barbara completed the nursing program at Muscatine Community College. She worked in the community for many years before attending the University of Iowa for her BSN and then ultimately earning her Master's degree from the University of Phoenix. In college she belonged to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She was a college professor and nursing instructor at the Eastern Iowa Community College Muscatine Campus. Barbara loved teaching and caring for others. She enjoyed shopping in Kalona and Stringtown. Barbara liked to play dominos and volunteering at the Jesus Mission. She loved her grandson.

Barbara is survived by her parents; her son, Brad Schneckloth and his wife, Alicia, of Muscatine; her daughter, Heather Schneckloth of Muscatine; one grandson, Otto Weston Schneckloth; her aunts and uncles, Larry Phillips of Grandview, Carol Daufeldt of Davenport, and Janice Hayes Coppers of Cove, Texas; special friends, Ginger Harrison and her husband, Tony and Ellie Sweet of Davenport.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
