Lois Jean Rogers, 81, of LaFayette passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. Her husband of 62 years, Frank Houston Rogers Jr., 83, joined her two days later on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Both passed away at their home surrounded by their loving family.
They were preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Verna Rogers; her parents, Fred and Edith Minnis; grandchildren, Shad and Shanna Abbott; and her brother, Jack Minnis.
Survivors include daughters, Tina (Michael) Abbott and Tammy Cross; grandchildren, Shawn Abbott, Matt (Lindsey) Cross, and Josh (Savannah) Cross; nine great grandchildren; Frank's sisters, Clara (Wayne) Wimberly and Janice (Bill) Duff; Jean's sisters, Polly Still and Emma Jo Sword; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday, January 7, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
