SAVANNAH, TN- Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Phillips, age 70, will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, TN. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Hardin County.
Mrs. Phillips, floor supervisor for Savannah Manufacturing and member of Hopewell Baptist Church, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Hardin Medical Center.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Edgar Phillips, Jr.; her parents, Barley Russell and Willie D. Franks and a sister, Ellen Gillihan.
Survivors include her daughter, Katrina Littrell and husband, Lynn of Jackson, TN; five sons, Terry Phillips and wife, Shelia of Savannah, TN, Donald Phillips and wife, Connie of Adamsville, TN, Eddie Phillips and wife, Mitzi of Savannah, TN, Shannon Phillips and wife, Paula of Selmer, TN and Greg Phillips of Savannah, TN; eleven grandchildren, Ashleigh Littrell, Kacey Phillips McFall, Chris Phillips, Kerry Phillips, Krystal Phillips, Chelsea Phillips, Trent Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Landon Phillips, MaKenzie Phillips and Ansley Phillips; five great grandchildren, Kassidy McFall, Nicholas McFall, Lauren Phillips, Bryce Phillips and Brayden Phillips; a sister, Shirley Stricklin of Savannah, TN and a brother L. B. Franks of Loudon, TN.
