JOSEPH M. FOSHEE, SR., 71, of 1530 Winchester Street, a retired salesman, died of renal failure on Wednesday at St. Dominic / Jackson Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are 1 p.m. today at Lakewood Memorial Park. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mr. Foshee -- a Brewton, Alabama native and former resident of Decatur, Georgia; Tampa, Florida; and Mobile, Alabama -- had lived in Jackson, Mississippi since 1955. He was a Mason and a member of Henry H. Graves Post No. 1 of the American Legion. Mr. Foshee was an Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from Contractor Materials Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, June; sons, Joe M. Foshee of Madison, Bill Foshee of Jackson, and Win Foshee of Brandon; daughters, Susan Vansickel of Huntsville, Alabama, and Carolyn Weber of Killen, Texas; and, six grandchildren. ~~~ CLARION LEDGER, Jackson, MS, Mar. 30, 1990, page 14
