Our beloved Husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Larry Darrell Watson was born on March 30, 1943 and passed away unexpectedly September 24, 2020 at the age of 77.

He was born in Downey Idaho to Darrell M. Watson and Joyce Henderson, the oldest of 3 children. He was raised in Arimo and graduated from Marsh Valley High School. He loved walking the hills in his back yard while throwing either a gun or fishing pole over his shoulder. He loved hunting and fishing all of his life and passed these loves onto his kids and grand kids. He loved farm work and worked on many farms throughout his life.

August 6, 1965 he married Katherin (Kate) Durrant in the Idaho Falls temple, they were married for 55 years. They had two beautiful daughters , Kristy (Mowrey) and Cindy (Johnson). He worked at JR Simplot for 27 years in varies positions and following this he worked for Bowen Petroleum for 16 years managing and dispatching. He enjoyed driving semis - all through out his working years he drove for various companies on the side to help support his family and support his love of trucking.

Larry retired in 2010. He and his wife Kate enjoyed many trips on their side by side with friends and family that they loved dearly. New found friends made during retirement made the past 10 years some of the best and most adventurous years of his life. We would like to extend a very special heart felt thank you to those special souls. (you know who you are).

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various callings.
