Age 86, of Monroe, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Ray was born on September 4, 1934 in Monroe, the son of Wesley and Lilly (Imobersteg) Bowen. He graduated from Orangeville High School in 1952. Ray farmed most of his life on the Bowen farmstead in Clarno Township. Following his retirement from farming, Ray worked for ten years at Carrousel Grain Service in Monroe. He was a member of East Clarno Church, Monroe Moose Lodge #754, and a former member of the Orangeville Oddfellow Lodge #372.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Albert Reinmann.
