Theodore Ralph Berberich
March 11, 1939 – March 28, 2016

Ted R. Berberich, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 28, 2016.

Ted was a 54-year member of Laborers International Union of North America and the majority of those years were spent as Training Director of the Willard R. Wilkinson Laborers Training Center. He was also a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lee’s Summit, MO and a 50-year member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Ted, Jr., his parents John and Catherine, and his five brothers Corky, George, Leo, Bob and Leonard.

Ted is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jan; daughter and son-in-law Angie and Clint Taylor; son and daughter-in-law Tony and DeDe Berberich; and daughter-in-law Paula Berberich. His six grandchildren, who will also serve as pallbearers Amy Berberich, Matt (Erin) Berberich, Michael (Amanda) King, Steven (Erica) King, Ryan and Nicole Berberich. He is also survived by his two great-grandchildren Carter and Natalie King and Baby Berberich due in July.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 SW 150 Hwy., Lee’s Summit, MO 64082. Visitation will be Thursday, March 31 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 5:30 p.m., at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO.
