Mrs. Marie Hagelganz, 4824 NE 17th Ave., widow of the late Rev. Henry Hagelganz who served as pastor for several Russian and Polish churches in Portland, died Saturday at her home. Born in Illinois, June 10, 1885, she had been a resident of Portland for the last 40 years. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Carl Crumley, Mrs. Mary McAyeral, Mrs. Katherine Davis and Mrs. Minna Helzer, Portland: three sons, William, Portland; Ruben, Alaska; and Jack, Vancouver, Wash.; one brother, William Spanjer, Phoenix; one sister, Mrs. Willamina Smythe, Denver; one niece, Mrs. Florence Perry, Portland; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Evangelical Congregational church with private interment at Rose City cemetery.
