Born to Blanch Hicks & Charles Abraham Mace. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corp which changed to the Air Force during his service.
He married Shirly Ann Maricle on 7 May 1954 in Greeley, Colorado.
Survived by wife, children Perry Lee Mace, Charles Allen Mace & Debra Ann (Wesley)Land; brother Wayne C. (Phyllis)Mace, sister Mary Ann (Lloyd)Ferguson. Eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
