Born March 4, 1914, in Middletown, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Walsh) Pomfret, she resided in East Hampton for 50 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, East Hampton. Helen served on the Cromwell Board of Education and held a variety of jobs including one in the tax department for the Town of East Hampton. However, her first and primary love was raising her family and at that she did an outstanding job for which we are all profoundly grateful. She will be missed terribly by all.
She leaves her children and her brother . She was blessed with a long life and lived to see 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Michael Arcidiacono and two brothers, John Pomfret and Ed Pomfret.
