Terry Douglas Mitchell, 65 of Jacksonville passed away December 28, 2020 as a result of a long battle with lymphoma. His friends and family were by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born to Mable Virginia Callaway and James William Mitchell of Louisville, Kentucky on November 04, 1955. Terry worked for Berman Brothers some 35 years. He was a strong, passionate, hardworking man who loved his family.
Terry is survived by his brother Jerry William Mitchell and his sister Alice Church Ferrante. He is also survived by his sons, Anthony, Jimmy and Josh Mitchell as well as daughter in law Juliet and 7-year-old grandson Jeydon Mitchell. He has several nieces and a nephew, JerriLynn Mitchell, Krista Mitchell House, Kari Church Cross and Kevin W. Church as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 6th at the funeral home; burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park at 1 pm. He family asks that you consider donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in lieu of Flowers.
