Jackie Lynn Harris, 66, of Monett, MO, passed away on Thursday morning, in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his family.

Jackie was the son of the late Ray and Mildred Lucille (Beeson) Harris. Jackie graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1972. For over thirty-eight years, Jackie worked for Tyson Foods, retiring as Shift Manager this year. He and his wife also owned and operated Find it Again Antiques and Flea Market in Monett for several years until his health declined.

Jackie was a member of the East Side Church of Christ in Monett. He was also on the Board of the Monett Rural Fire Department. Some of his hobbies included going to flea markets and hunting for antiques, float trips, fishing and gardening.

On February 24, 1973 in Monett, Jackie Harris and Janice Marie Haney were united in marriage. To this union, two children were born.

Survivors include wife, Janice, of the home; son, Rusty Harris, of Purdy, MO; daughter, Stacey Harris, of Monett; six grandchildren, Brandon Fishinghawk, Austin Harris (Jamie), Josh Harris (fiancée Coraima Ortega), Blake Harris, Samantha Couch (Ethan) and Cayden Winkle; two great-grandsons, Noble and Zayden Harris; brother, Ricky Harris (Marsha); sister, Linda Ramsey (Larry); and a host of extended family and friends.
Jackie always had a smile on his face and will be dearly missed and always remembered by all who knew him.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bobby and J.R. Harris.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Don Deffenbaugh, Minister, will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Ennis Cemetery, Cassville. Visitation will be held from 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Integrity Hospice in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.

Masks are required for all those in attendance.
