Karen Sue Campbell, age 73 of Linn, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. Karen was born January 26, 1947, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Charles and Marjorie (Pinet) Campbell. Karen was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Linn. Karen enjoyed volunteering in the community, shopping at Hobby Lobby, coloring, cutting paper, bowling, and making greeting cards. She loved going on road trips through the country, singing, dancing, having her nails painted, watching the Andy Griffith Show, and listening to Johnny Cash. Karen always said that eating was the “love of her life”. She was always the center of attention and will be remembered for having a heart of gold.

Karen is survived by one brother, Gayle Campbell and his wife Jeanie of Linn; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Campbell of Linn; one nephew, four nieces, eleven great nieces and nephews, the staff and her friends at Stratman Apartments along with her special caretaker, Rose. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Campbell. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Linn Public Cemetery.
