Thomas James Clarke, 64, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private memorial service will be held for Mr. Clarke at a later date.

Born January 13, 1956 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Clarke was the son of the late Gerald Clarke and Phyllis James Clarke. He was self-employed as the Chief Executive Officer at Georgia Printco, the 2nd largest employer in Lanier County. Mr. Clarke was the Leading Knight at the Tifton Elks Lodge for three years and chairman of various activities.

Mr. Clarke’s Irish Heritage was an important part of who he was. He took pride in driving the Irish Cultural Society float in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Scranton, Pennsylvania for many years. He enjoyed all kinds of sports and was an avid hunter.

Mr. Clarke is survived by his wife, Jean Clarke of Tifton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Chris and Elizabeth Clarke of Tifton and Michael Clarke of Valdosta; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Clarke of Moscow, Pennsylvania; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Colleen and Karl Munshower and Patricia and Jason Knapp, all of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania; his nieces and nephews, Katie Munshower, Ryan Munshower, Robert Clarkes and Matthew Clarke; and his father’s 2nd wife, Ann Marie Clarke of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He left behind many friends who were like family.
