Charla Ann McGee, 83, of Konawa, Oklahoma, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born January 29, 1937 in Mergargel, (sic) Texas to Charlie Bruner and Adela (Symank) Bruner. She graduated from Mergargel (sic) High School, and became the owner of her own flower shop. She married Bill McGee in the Bahamas in November, 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa, and Charla loved dancing. She was survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Bill McGee, of the home; two daughters, Pam Davis of Aledo, Texas, and Lisa Griffin and husband Rick of Stratford, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jared Griffin, Hunter Griffin, Justyn Chapman, McKenzie Dove, and Evan Dempsey; and four great-grandchildren, Beau Griffin, Kreece Griffin, Henry Chapman, and Beckett Chapman. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, John Guthrie, Jr. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 4 January, at Konawa Cemetery in Konawa, Oklahoma, with Rev Mitch Williams officiating.
