Heaven has gained an angel! Eugene D. Jenkins, 87, of Massillon, was called by God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to his forever home on Christmas Day! Born July 4, 1933, Gene was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. Our father was a person of faith with a generous and loving heart. We will miss him for his kindness, generosity and how much love he had for others. There are not enough words to say how much we will miss him. But we are comforted in knowing he is with his mother, father, brothers, sisters, grandparents and his son and our loving brother, Chris. He will be forever over us, watching from above and rejoicing with the angels in heaven!

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Tim Mishler of Calvary Baptist Church and Chaplain Terry Livengood of Aultman Hospital will officiate. The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until noon. Cremation will follow and burial with military honors at Massillon City Cemetery in Massillon will be completed at a future date. For those attending the services, face coverings are essential and social distancing protocols will be observed. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at www.atkinsonfeucht.com
