Jeanette Bohr

Jeanette C. Bohr, 70, of Lansing, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.

Friends may call at the Thornburg-DeVries Funeral Home in Lansing from 11 a.m., until 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, where a memorial service is at noon. Fr. John Moser will preside at the service.

Jeanette C. Bohr was born Jan. 28, 1942, at Waukon. She was the daughter of Arthur and Marion Ruffridge Moen.

She graduated from Waukon High School and then attended Beautician School in Cedar Rapids. Jeanette worked as a cashier at Cahill’s Market in Ossian for many years.

She is survived by four sons: Mark of Ossian; Richard of Minneapolis; Jerry of Ossian, Rob of Hampton; one sister, Ruth Ann Haugon of Dubuque; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ronald and Ernie Moen.
