Greg Taylor, age 63, of Webb City, passed away Wednesday December 23.
Mr. Taylor was born on May 26, 1957, in Joplin, Missouri to Richard "Calvin" Taylor, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Gaskin) Taylor. He grew up in Carterville and graduated from Webb City High School in 1975. He joined the Air Force and served from 1979 to 1983. He worked for the Webb City Parks Department until ill health caused him to retire.
On June 26, 1976 Gregory Kent Taylor married Tammara Louise Riddle in Jasper County, Missouri. Gregory Kent Taylor married Sandra Kay "Sandi" Rodelander on July 12, 1986, in Carterville, and she survives. Other sirvivors include three brothers, Owen and his wife Gail, St. Louis, Calvin and his wife Chris, Springfield, Missouri, and Doug and his wife Laurie, Webb City, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Morgan and her husband Mike, Carthage, Missouri, and Jan Hendricks and her husband Rick, Neosho, Missouri; a daughter, Katie Wells and her husband Anthony, Aurora, Missouri; and a grandson, Carson Wells. In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by a brother, Richard C. Taylor, Jr.; and his grandmother, "Nan".
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carterville Baptist Church. They are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park.
