Joyce H. Miles (Nee Ruehle) went home to heaven on June 18th, 2020 to be with her loving husband Donald C. Miles, after being blessed with 69 years of marriage. A beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother.

Joyce spent the majority of her life in Hales Corners and Muskego, but enjoyed traveling the United States and the world with her family. Her civic pride began with her father being the first Hales Corners Fire Chief and continued on while volunteering as a poll worker.

She spent many years caring for others while working in a Waukesha doctor's office. Other activities included volunteering for various organizations over many years. Some of these include the Shamrock Club, German Fest, and Festa Italiana.

When at home, she would spend time working on her yard and garden and telling loved ones of her past and life lessons while on the shores of Lake Denoon. This would often happen over a piece of her cherished Black Walnut cake.

She will be missed.

Visitation at Hartson Funeral home on Friday, July 17th from 11AM to 12 Noon followed by procession to Emanuel Cemetery for additional visitation from 12:30 to 1 PM followed by a graveside service.

For those unable to join during that time, we will be gathering to further remember Joyce at the Whitnall Park Beer Garden from 2-4, 8831 North Root River Parkway, Greendale.
