Elizabeth Ann “Ann” Bennett, 71, of Decatur, passed away at 12:41 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

A private family graveside service will be held at Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, IL. Memorials may be made in Ann’s honor to New Life Tabernacle of Macon.

Ann was born April 3, 1949, in Lincoln, IL, daughter of Lester O’dell and Jaqueline Jewel (Cowgur) Sheridan. She married Charles I. Bennett June 11, 1989, in Vienna, IL.

Ann loved Jesus and was a member of New Life Tabernacle of Macon. She enjoyed reading, singing, history and going to church. Ann especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Charles; son: David C.F. Holshouser and wife Amber of Decatur; daughters: Elizabeth Ann Locke of Decatur and Angela E.A. Gerberding and husband Nicholas of Springfield; 14 grandchildren: Charles E. II, Anthony Q., and Anna M.J. Gordon, Michael M. Gerberding, Duncan, Stanley, Emilie, Logan, Allison, Madeline, Matthew, Connor, Margret, and Callan Holshouser.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Leslie Carol Holshouser.
