Obituary: Phillip John Moore
Age 75 of Corunna passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel on Tuesday, September 8th from 2:00 to 8:00pm.
Phillip was born on September 19, 1944 to Robert and Dorthy (Walser) Moore in Owosso. He served with the Army National Guard for 4 years. Phillip married Elizabeth Ann Cupal on May 28, 1966; they celebrated 54 years of marriage this year.
Phillip worked for General Motors for 35 years, retiring in 1997. During his life, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. He was a builder, mechanic, and handyman. Phillip was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church and the American Legion.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Moore; his children, Tom Moore, Tim (Mary Beth) Moore, and Cheryl (Michael) Jordan; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Jacob, Joshua, Abigail, Kylie, and Ava; his great-granddaughter, Isla; his siblings, Yvonne, Bobby, Susan, and Janice; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, and his siblings, Bill and Maryanne.
