Patricia "Patti" Ann Norris gained her angel wings peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Patti was an extraordinary woman. A loving mother, amazing sister, devoted friend, and a caring mentor.
Patti was born August 23, 1953 in Stephenson, WV to the late Edgar M. Forren (1922-1983) & wife Janet L. Forren (1936-1998); and the late Lorene Meadows-Forren-Perdue (1930-2013) & husband Walter Paul "Pete" Perdue (1945-1997). In addition to her parents and step-parents, Patti was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie Chris Forren (1967-1967) and John "Johnny" Millard Forren (1951-1987), sisters, Frances "Tuffy" Lorene Forren (1947-2019) and Carolyn Lyvonne Forren-Catlett (1949-2019) & husband Jimmy Catlett (1984-Deceased); and a son, Jimmy Wayne Miller (1975-2020).
Those here to cherish her memory include her loving companion, Jerry Basham; an aunt, Margaret Ann Lafferty; a sister, Trina Marie Forren-Tarpley & husband Kell Forren; brothers, Brett Scott Forren & wife Patsy Forren, George Lacy Forren, and Eric Henderson & wife Glenna Henderson; her children; Jamie Michelle Vass, and George Curtis Fox & wife Ashlie Fox; her grandchildren, Jacob Ward & wife Shannon Ward, Serenidy Fox, Nevaeh Fox, Legend Grizzle, Kayden Vass, Emily McClellan and Cole McClellan; a life-long, devoted, true friend, Terry Foster; a large number of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center.
