Funeral service for Mr. Larry Carson Nabors, 64, of Hokes Bluff will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday January 3, 2021 at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Chapel with Reverend Chris Walker officiating the service. Burial will follow the service in Hokes Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home. Mr. Nabors passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at UAB Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife: Wanda Seahorn Nabors; parents: Clyde Milton and JoAnn Nabors; sister: Bernice Harper.
Left to cherish his memories are his special friend: Pam Childers; brother: Clyde Mitchell (Carmelita Santos) Nabors of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; niece and nephew: Raquel Elizabeth Long, and Kenny Joe Nabors.
Mr. Nabors was of the Christian faith and attended Cross Creek Community Church for a number of years. He was a graduate of Glencoe High School where he played football and helped win the National Championship in 1973. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing Karaoke and riding his motorcycle. He loved playing with his loving pets, Samie Carson, and his Sunshine Bird. He enjoyed taking rides on his golf cart to the park and riverside and spending time with his special friend Pam.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
