Aurora P. Hernandez, 98, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday Dec. 23, 2020 at Delnor hospital. She was born in Mexico June 29, 1922, daughter of Agustin and Guadalupe (Martinez) Perales. Aurora was an elementary school teacher in Mexico teaching all subjects. She enjoyed cooking, sewing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and having her margaritas.
Aurora is survived by two granddaughters, Monica Martinez (Juan Gomez) and Erica (Arturo) Rodriguez; four great great grandchildren, Dominique (Julian) Valadez, Alicia (Tony) Mastrodomenico, Karina Jaquez and Jordan Rodriguez; three great great grandchildren, Liam, Mason and Ella, and one sister, Maria Concepcion Hernandez.
Aurora is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Domingo, one daughter, Gloria, one granddaughter, Elaine Gloria, three sisters, Maria Leal, Angelita Ledesma Perales, Guadalupe Ortega and one brother, Agustin Perales.
Family received guests Wednesday Dec. 30, 2020 from 9am to 11am at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral Mass Wednesday Dec. 30, 2020, 12pm at St. Therese Catholic Church in Aurora. Burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Aurora.
