Born in Bedford County on June 14, 1953, he was a son of Hazel Wood Cofer and was also preceded in death by Bonnie Sue, the Love of his Life.
He is survived by his children, Tim Wood, Tara Wood; step-children, Barry Brooks, Teresa Brooks; a sister, Sandra Wood; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren and other loving family members.
A service will be held at a later date.
