Paul Davison Robbins, age 66, of Willis, TX went home to be his heavenly Father after battling and subsequently succumbing to a prolonged illness on Tuesday, November 17th 2020.

Survived by several of his loved ones, Paul leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Frankie and their son's Sean P. Robbins and Brett L. Robbins (wife Kimberly).

Paul has one sister, Donna Fletcher (husband Fletch), brother's Michael Robbins (wife Debbie), and Jerry Robbins (wife Melissa).

Paul, fondly known as Papaw, was blessed with five cherished grandchildren that he loved and doted upon. In order of their birth; Jacob, Jeffrey, Madelynn, Claire, and Juliana Robbins.

Paul is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews as well as many dear friends and close business associates.

Paul was born in Hobbs, NM to parents Don Ray Robbins and Joan Davison who preceded him in death.

He volunteered his time investing in the local community, attended summer school and graduated from high school in Hobbs, class of 1972. Paul, eager to provide himself with a decent living right out of high school, soon found employment in the booming oil and gas industry. He enjoyed working with his hands, was intelligent, quick to learn and soon mastered the setup, care and implementation of various specialized tools and equipment utilized on site at many an oil rig operation across these United States. He had this strong, well founded work ethic, instilled in him from an early age by his Father and held not only himself, but others to perform to a high standard to do what needed to be done to perform the task in the proper manner. He traveled extensively to various locales around the U.S. when and where he was needed and could be counted upon to get the job done correctly. Fortunately, his travels through work brought him to OK at one point in time where he met Frankie, his wife to be.

After the oil business turned from boom to bust in the mid 1980's, Paul was quick to find alternatives in order to provide for his family as he embarked upon a new career in sales for Bear Automotive. He held various other positions within other companies in the years to come but seemed to find his niche and calling as an Insurance Claims Adjuster working out of Houston and settled comfortably into that career path.

Ambitious as he was, having the necessary expertise and seizing upon the opportunity, Paul started his very own Insurance Claims adjusting business in the mid 1990's with the founding of Palladin Claims Service with his motto, "Have camera, will travel". He stayed true to himself, held fast to his beliefs, his strong work ethic as well as his warm, friendly demeanor and fair dealings in his personal and business relationships. This commitment, equality and hard work were fruitful for the company to grow and thrive; even to this day.

Paul had several interests and a few hobbies that included fishing, golf, fishing, fast cars, collecting various items and yes; even more fishing. He was nimble with his hands and could repair almost anything; a true DIY type of person who was always willing to lend a hand; most especially to "supervise" as he called it.

Paul was well known for his warm sense of humor, his fairness to others, generosity and his world famous guacamole, hot sauce and gazspacho. He was a God loving man with a larger than life heart of gold, kind, gracious and always of good cheer. He proved to be a great provider, wonderful husband and beloved Father who instilled his strong work ethic, integrity, good mannerisms and strong moral compass in his children as he lived by example.

A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life and legacy will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at McNutt Funeral Home in Conroe TX at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow on site. Family, friends and acquaintances are encouraged to attend if possible.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and other staff at HCA Conroe Hospital, the caregivers of Oasis Hospice and McNutt Funeral home. His family would especially like to give their gratitude of love and thanks to family members and friends for the flowers, food, and all the much appreciated support, contributions and condolences provided in this trying time.
