Linda Sue Gilbert, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at her home, in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born on October 20, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Joan Enke Daniels, of Columbus, and the late Charles Daniels.
Survivors include: her husband of 51 years, Carl Alfred Gilbert; six children, Elizabeth (Dale) Bolden, of May's Lick, Charles Gilbert, of Maysville, Julie (Mario) Gamez, of Maysville, Teresa (Jackie) Mason, of Vanceburg, Terry (Leeanna) Gilbert, of Manchester, and Carl Thomas Gilbert, of Maysville; 12 grandchildren, Amanda Bolden, Brooklyn Bolden, Joshua Gilbert, Mikey Gilbert, Nick Gilbert, Isiah Hardin, Andrew Brown, Matt Brown, Ashley Brown, Kyra Brown, Mario Soto, Victoria Gamez, Justin Wheeler, Zachary Crosby, Michaela Johnson, Dylan Gilbert, Terri Gilbert and Jerry Gilbert; two brothers, Steve Daniels, of Dayton, Ohio, and Kevin Daniels, of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Sandy Daniels, of Columbus; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Daniels, Mark Daniels and Kenny Daniels.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. All in attendance are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
