Janice Irene Vaughn, age 81, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born May 16, 1939 in Gorham, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Bernard and Irene (Bagley) Thompson. Janice had attended the New Vienna Church of Christ, and was a veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed quilting, and currently has one her handmade quilts hanging in the State House of New Hampshire. Janice is survived by her son, Keith A. Vaughn of Wilmington; grandchildren, Megan, Elizabeth, and Charlene Renner, all of Arizona; siblings Willie, Darlene, and Hughey; and close friends Barb Urton and Nancy McKee. In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Vaughn; and daughter Kathleen Lynn Vaughn. Graveside funeral services with military honors at Clinton Memory Gardens 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2020. Brown Funeral Home is assisting the family.
