Rose Marie Armstrong, 93, died December 26, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society- Hutchinson Village. She was born January 9, 1927, in Key West, FL, to John William and Rose Lee (Barza) Sawyer.

Rose was a homemaker and self-employed artist. She enjoyed painting, especially watercolors, and she loved jewelry. In years past, Rose owned a craft consignment store in Heber Springs, AR, where she sold her own creative works of art and consigned with other artists. For several years, she owned a boutique shop in Hutchinson, where she designed and sewed elaborate dresses and gowns.

Rose is survived by: sons, Steve Conard and wife, Robin West-Conard, and Randy Conard, all of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Christal Jones and husband Adam; and great-grandson, Corbin Jones, all of Derby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a half-sister, Verlie Louise Hewett.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Arnold officiating. Private burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
