Evelyn J. Cutchin Jackson passed away on Sunday morning December 27, 2020. She was born on November 12, 1922 in Norfolk, VA to the late Thomas H. Cutchin and Effie Stone Cutchin. Except for a short time in the mid to late 1940s, she was a lifelong resident of the Tidewater area. She was for many years an active member of Haygood United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. She was predeceased by her parents, husband of 64 years, Leon D. Jackson, as well as two brothers, Thomas Cutchin Jr., and Robert Cutchin.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Don Jackson (Gloria); granddaughter Darla Fabunan (David); great grandson, Tyler Fabunan and many nieces & nephews as well as her dear friend, Ernie Massey.
A celebration of a life well lived will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her name to the Southeastern Virginia/Eastern Shore Food Bank. You may offer your condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
