MANNING - Carrie Lee "Tro" Blackwell Brown, 70, widow of John Dobbins "JD" Brown, died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1950, in Alcolu, a daughter of Henrietta Burgess Blackwell and the late Willie Jasper Blackwell.
Graveside services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1260 Green Hill Church Road, Alcolu, with the Rev. Delbert H. Singleton Jr., pastor, officiating.
Due to COVID-19, the family is not receiving friends.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
