Born in Horseheads, NY, she was a daughter of the late James Morrison and Thelma Morrison Wood.
Always a caregiver, Sheila loved working with the special needs population, loved dogs, and loved everyone with all of her being. She spent her entire life as a CNA and caregiver. She loved going to the beach, shopping at thrift and antique stores, and cooking.
At 18 years old, she started working as a special needs caregiver at Shepherd's Gate in Wisconsin. Her original plan was to complete her education degree from Tennessee Temple University, but upon meeting the love of her life, she married, moved to South Carolina, and began working for Miracle Hill. She has been in South Carolina ever since then.
Nothing made her happier than spending time with the ones she loved and having friends around her. The more food she could make, the happier she was.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Cook (Keith); one brother, Jim Morrison; three sisters, Diana Shaw, Sharon Reed, and Jean Mosher; along with many dear friends and loved ones that were more like family than friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Peter Jenkins
