Joan M. Dorman, age 74, of Bartow, FL died Sunday, July 8, 2007 from respiratory failure at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Dorman was born January 7, 1933 in Trenton, NJ and has lived in Bartow, FL since December 2006. She has been a part time resident of the area for many years. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Dorman is survived by her loving husband, Walter A. Dorman, Bartow, FL; sons, Walter E. Dorman of Ewing, NJ; David A. Dorman of Lakeland, FL; daughters, Sharon M. Johnson of Macon, GA; Brenda A. Conner of Titusville, NJ; Elizabeth A. Plumeri of Yardville, NJ; brothers, James Castiglione of Bartow, FL; Henry Castiglione of Browns Mills, NJ; sister, Elizabeth A. Jones of Hamilton, NJ; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
