Survivors included two daughters, Misses Annie Loys and Lela Leslie Bailey; three sons, P. K. Shirley of Wetumpka, Lieut. J. P. Bailey of the U.S. Air Service stationed at Monrovia, California, Mr. Chelon Bailey of Detroit, Michigan; one sister Mrs. J. D. Law of Equality; and one brother, Mr. E. B. Melton of Arcadia, Louisiana.
