Born May 25, 1968, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Billy Kronmueller and Dorene Blankenbeckler. Kim is survived by Bert and Dixie Blankenbeckler who raised Kim since she was four years of age and whom she considered her parents; Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Atonya Smith.
She was the proud mother and mammaw of three daughters, Summer Donahue of Taylor, Michigan, Brandy Brown (Kyle) and Samantha Carter, all of Morehead; two grandsons, Karter Brown and Kash Brown; and her caring companion, Lancer Holbrook.
Also surviving are several brothers and sisters including Clarence Smith, Jr. of Redford, Michigan, Branden Starostka, Cody Kronmueller, and Nathan Kronmueller, all of Olive Hill, Tammy Smith of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Amber Kronmueller of Morehead, and Tabitha Marcum of Olive Hill, as well as additional siblings; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Kim was a former manager at The Macomb Daily newspaper in Macomb County, Michigan. She enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, spending time with family and friends, and especially playing with her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Skaggs-Wilson-Blankenbecker Cemetery, 200 Dewey Garris Road, Olive Hill, KY 41164 with Brother Terrell Webb officiating and special music by Kelly Webb.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Kim’s residence (in Elliott County), 544 Dewey Garris Road, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
