Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Rebecca Wren, 30, resident of Jackson for the past 12 years, who died at a local hospital early Wednesday morning, following a short illness, were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Wright and Ferguson Funeral home. Dr. H. M. King, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church, and Rev. James N. Faulconer, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated. She was a native of Shivers. She was a member of the Baptist church and leaves a host of friends to mourn her untimely passing. Her husband, Emmett C. Wren, is associated with the United Gas company here. Surviving besides her husband is her father, R. C. Crawford, Mendenhall; four brothers, Luther Crawford, Joyner, Ark.; Otho Crawford, Mendenhall; Oma Crawford, Basset, Ark., and Willie Crawford, of Shivers. Pallbearers were: W. B. Ferrell, W. A. Pseight, L. D. Campbell, B. L. Prince, Harry L. Smith, A. L. Ross, H. Frazier, and J. D. Killough. Burial followed funeral rites and was made in the Lakewood Memorial park.
