Mrs. Debbie Rita Montgomery, age 64, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born September 28, 1956, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to James Sammy Byrd and Doris Jean Carter.
Mrs. Montgomery was a lifelong resident of Ponce De Leon, Florida. She was Holiness by faith. She worked as a licensed Practical Nurse until her retirement. She was a loving mother, an avid thrift shopper, and she loved her dog, Little “C”.
Mrs. Montgomery is preceded in death by her father and mother.
Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her husband, Reverend Kenny Montgomery of Ponce De Leon, Florida; her son, Joseph Aaron Montgomery of Ponce De Leon; her daughter, Jessica Jean Montgomery Lindsey and husband John of Ponce De Leon; her brother, Greg Byrd and wife Betty of Milton, Florida; two sisters, Audrey Farrington and husband Ron of Ponce De Leon, and Cindy Mittchem and husband Spur of Pensacola, Florida; three grandchildren, Larry Blane and wife Tanya, Chazadie Nichols and husband Eric, and Jonothan (Bubby) Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Berreta and Triger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony McCullough officiating.

Burial will follow in New Ponce De Leon Cemetery.
