Elizabeth Thompson (Phelan) of Bay City Michigan, age 50, passed away Thursday August 11th, 2016 after a brave fight with cancer. Born in Saginaw, Liz married Kenneth Thompson in March of 1987. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology at SVSU in 1992 and worked at Dow Corning for many years. Most recently she worked as a job coach at New Dimensions in Bay City. She was an active member of the community, participating in Relay for Life for the last few years.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Loretta Phelan. Survived by her husband Kenneth Thompson, son Kenneth Thompson Jr, daughter-in-law Jessica Thompson, grandson Teddy Thompson, brother Louis Phelan, sister Gail Phelan, nephew Martin Gutierrez, niece Loretta Gutierrez, and many extended family and friends.
