Marcus Davion May-Cook (aka Spiderman) was born on June 24, 2005 in Lansing, and passed away in Lansing on August 10, 2008 at the age of 3.

He loved Spiderman so much, he wanted to know when he would turn into Spiderman. He also loved Benny Rodriguez, the baseball player in the movie the Sandlot. He was always loving, smiling and full of energy and spread so much joy and happiness where ever he went.

Surviving are: his mother, Mindy Cook; sister, Makyla; half brother, Mikeise; father, Michael May; grandparents, Dawn Barnum and Delbert (Linda) Cook and Theodora (Chris) May and James (Ester) Henry; aunt, Dawn "TT" Cook; cousin, Markuice Cook; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 20, 2008 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marcus May-Cook Memorial Fund at Comerica Bank, c/o Delbert Cook.
