LEON S MYERS

Leon S. Myers, 77, of Lititz PA, passed away on December 23, 2020 after a brief illness at his home surrounded by family.
He graduated from Elizabethtown College (Class of 1967) prior to serving in the U.S. Coast Guard (Vietnam 1967-1971). He had a long career in banking after his military service. He served the community by participating on the Board of Trustees for both the local and national Boys and Girls Clubs, Berks County United Way, Reading Hospital, Berks County Community Foundation, Reading Musical Foundation and East Central Group of Robert Morris Foundation.
He was well known for his gift of music- which he readily shared with his family, friends, and church. He had strong dedication to family and determination to ensure that those he loved were cared for. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and many longtime friends.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Bonnie (Robison) Myers, daughter Carey Myers and her husband Vincent Causerano, daughter Rebecca (Myers) Fracchia and her husband Michael Fracchia, step-daughter Dayna (Long) DiMarco and her husband Anthony DiMarco, step-son Jared Long and his wife Sonja Mayrhofer, grandchildren Elizabeth Hutcheson, Ryan Blough and his wife Lauren, Madelynn Myers, Alexander Fracchia, Nicolas and Chase Causerano, Carina, Ranita, Josiah DiMarco, and Eliana Long. He is also survived by brothers Clifford Carl Myers and his wife Grace of Huntsville, Alabama; Allen Keith Myers and wife Carolyn of Seattle, Washington; and sisters Marian (Myers) Beechey and her husband Richard Beechey of Dayton, Ohio and Ruth Anna (Myers) Rhoades and her husband Paul Rhoades of Carlisle, PA and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Clifford I and Elizabeth K (Baum) Myers, sister Carolyn (Myers) LeDane and her husband Thomas LeDane, brother Garry W. Myers and nephew Christopher Myers.
A memorial service will be held at a later time when it is appropriate to gather friends and family.
