Bryan Daniel Clark was born in Walnut Creek, California on August 4, 1981 to Timothy & Teresa Clark. He was baptized into the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in El Cerrito, California. Bryan was called suddenly from the Church Militant to the Church Triumphant on December 18, 2020 at the age of 39.

Bryan was raised in Vacaville, California until 1996 when the family moved to Sugar Land, Texas. He then attended Stephen F. Austin High School. In 1997 the family then moved to Saudi Arabia where Bryan spent a year at the Bahrain International School where he gained many lifelong friends of different nationalities. Bryan then decided he wanted to return to the U.S. to graduate and spent his final school year in Atchison, Kansas graduating from Maur Hill Prep School in 2000.

Bryan spent his adult years in various jobs and returned to California in 2014 finding work as an Account Manager for North Bay Distributors in Vacaville, California. In September 2017, Bryan suffered a fall from height and a severe back injury that rendered him disabled and unable to work but he remained positive as he worked through rehabilitation, living with his sister, Kelli, in Fairfield, California.

In 2019 Bryan returned to Texas, living in Rosenberg with his parents until he met Joanna Castaneda. He relocated to La Porte, Indiana to share his life with Joanna, her daughter, Skye, and young son, Oliver. Bryan was happy as he finally had a family that he could share his life, big heart, and love.

Bryan was an avid baseball and football fan. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders. He was a diehard member of the Raiders Nation! He family and friends knew that if the Cardinals or Raiders were playing, his day was planned around watching the game. If there was a win, his smile lit up the room. We won’t mention his mood when his team was defeated.

He is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters, Kelli Sechler, Jason Clark, Jeffrey Clark (Amanda), Steven Clark, Tyler Clark, Kaitlyn Clark; and nephews, Nathyn Sechler and Mason; his grandfather, Gerald Osterholt; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and partner in love Joanna, and children Skye and Olli, all who loved him very much.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and June Clark, Barbara Osterholt, and uncle, Dan Clark.

Bryan was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and partner in love with Joanna Castaneda of La Porte, IN, and a dad to Skye and little Olli. He was a happy man and is now at peace, resting in the arms of Our Lord.
