Dennis Michael Ward, age 58 of Laurinburg, passed away on December 25, 2020 at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Dennis was born on February 4, 1962 in Janesville, Wisconsin, son of Donna Mullen Ward and the late Harvey Elwood Ward.

Dennis gave many years of service to JP Stevens Company leaving upon becoming disabled. After leaving JP Stevens, Dennis spent the majority of his time doing what he loved to do which was tinker on anything he could get his hands on believing that there was nothing he could not fix. He was always willing to help anyone that needed his help. Dennis loved his family, he especially loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews and they loved him just as much. He also loved his mama, there were no limits to what he would do for his “mama”.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Terri Driggers Ward; sister, Brenda L. Ward and a brother, Eric D. Ward.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Donna M. Ward of Mulberry, FL, formerly of Laurinburg; brothers, Patrick Ward of Laurinburg, Adam Ward of Savannah, GA; sisters, Colleen W. Bennett (James) and Shelia Pate (Roger) both of Laurinburg, Mary Kathleen Paolozzi (Chuck) of Mulberry, FL, along with a host of his nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside memorial service on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillside Memorial Park.
