Bonnie L. Holifield Wilson, 81, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born on October 9, 1939, in Vicksburg, MS. She was very creative and enjoyed spending her time scrapbooking. Bonnie was the epitome of a true matriarch, who loved her family dearly. She married the love of her life 64 years ago, and spent 54 wonderful years with him until his passing 10 years ago.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Red” Wilson, her infant daughter, Eva Bonita Wilson, and her parents, Albert Lee Holifield and Eva Juanita Dameron Kappler
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl Amy, Wesley Wilson, and Melissa Trehern; grandchildren, Dawn, David, Wesley Jr., Amanda "Amie", Travis, and Alex; 12 great-granchildren; 2 great great-grandchilren; and brother, Raymond Hunt; along with numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
