Frank Parker, age 88 of Paris, died Friday, December 25, 2020, at Henry County Healthcare in Paris.
Frank retired after 36 years in Quality Control at Holley Carburetor Plant in Paris. He then worked for Republic Builders in McKenzie and Uncle Lees in Paris. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ, where he formerly served as a Deacon.
Born July 16, 1932, in Springville, he was the son of the late John Quincy Parker and to the late Bessie Provow Parker.
He was married on April 1, 1956, to Nellie Ruth Willoughby Parker, who survives of Paris.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Beverly (Eddie) Graham of Cleveland, TN; two sons, Ronnie Dale (Alisa) Parker of Cleveland, TN, and Larry Joe Parker of Ft. Worth, TX; two sisters, Laura Beeson of Louisville, KY, and Rozelle Wright of Hollow Rock, TN; seven grandchildren, Brent (Rebecca) Parker, Crystal (Randy) Thompson, Bryant Graham, Sadie Graham, Montana Davis, Victoria Davis, and Eden Parker; three great grandchildren, Nolan Thompson, Olivia Thompson, and Genevieve Parker; and several cousins.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by 14 siblings, Della Nanney, Leora Tolleson, Susan Parker, Carrie Taylor, Ruth Folsom, Mittie Smith, Margaret Parker, Myrtle Parker, Hubert Parker, Walton Parker, Alfred Parker, David Parker, Albert Parker, and Carl Parker.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Josh Manning officiating.
Pallbearers for the service are Wes Knee, Gary Wright, Bill Gatewood, Joe Arena, Glenn Willoughby, and Payton Armstrong.
Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville.
