William C "Bill" Malone Jr, of Canaan, NH passed away peacefully at DHMC-Jack Byrne Center for Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH surrounded by his family and friends on December 25, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born March 2, 1962 in Memphis, TN to Carl and Charlene (Russell) Malone.

He wasn't familiar with NH but came here with his friend Larry Tremblay in early 80s and liked it so much he made it his home. On July 21, 1990 he married the love of his life, Melissa LeBlanc.

He was not afraid of work and found a lot of different jobs. He has been working at Sheridan Group in Hanover, NH for 38 Years and became a Lead Operator along with his work partner and good friend Mark Snider. The two of them working together became a valuable asset to the company. In his spare time from his real job, Bill started his own company "Malone's Roofing" which he had to close last year due to his health problems. He was always the happiest when he was busy doing something and usually for someone else who needed his help.

In the late 80' s Bill started flying airplane models and became friends with Dr Walter Moore and together they created the “Broken Prop RC Club.” Later Bill and Walter decided to take flying lessons so they could fly themselves instead of just models. They and another friend, Dan Warner, were flying their ultra light planes around the area every chance they got after that.

Bill and Melissa also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle on trips as often as they could make time to do it. They also enjoyed taking vacations together especially with family and friends on cruises.

Bill Malone was a good man that would go the extra mile to do anything for his family and friends. He will forever be missed but never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa, and three children and four grandchildren: two daughters, Sonia Malone (Jay Stulz) and grandson Aguer; Ashley Malone (Corey Hamel) and grandson Malikai; one son Adrian (Kristine) Smith and granddaughters Lillian Jean and Violet. In addition, his father and stepmother, Carl and Bonnie Malone; sisters Susan Williams and Roxie Malone and stepsisters Rhonda Laufenberg and Kim Davey. Melissa's family: mother Dorothy LeBlanc; her sister Cindy (David) Martin; brothers Tom (Brenda) LeBlanc, Tim (Rose) LeBlanc, Daniel (Breanne) LeBlanc, David (Lisa) LeBlanc; sister-in-law Heather LeBlanc. Bill's surviving family also includes many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews all to many to list.

He was preceded in death by his mother Charlene; sister Sandra Short; grandparents, Charley and Arizona Malone; Norma King and Ed Russell; father-in-law Ronald LeBlanc; brother-in-law Jeff LeBlanc.

A private committal will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
