Actor. Brother of the actors Horst-Michael Neutze and Günther Neutze. Between 1959 and 1965 he was married to Ingrid Andree. He made is stage debut at age 12. He played his roles from Shakespeare to Tennessee Williams with great ease. In 1955 he played his first movie role in "Das heiße Herz." He was awarded the Bundesfilmpreis in silver (German movie award) for his role in "The Buddenbrooks" in 1959 and in 1961 in gold for 'Der letzte Zeuge' (The Last Witness). In 1961 he played James Cagney's assistant Schlemmer in Billy Wilders "One, Two, Three." He died during rehearsals for "Meuterei auf der Caine." He was one of the most popular and talented post-war stage, film, and TV actors.
