Stanley Hughes, age 65, was a lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas. Stanley was a 1973 graduate of Jasper High School. Stanley also earned an Associate Degree from Angelina College in Lufkin. He owned and operated Tex-Pack Express for many years in Jasper. He also worked with Performance Trucks as a parts manager until he retired because of health issues. He enjoyed political discussions. He was an avid collector of books and memorabilia and he also enjoyed photography.
Stanley is survived by his brothers, Joe Hughes & wife Vivian of Weatherford, Texas and David Hughes & wife Kathleen of Lufkin, Texas. Stanley is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Doris Hughes and his brother George Hughes.
